In honor of the esteemed architectural historian Doğan Kuban, the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Restoration Department curated a seminar series to commemorate his contributions to the field. Among the distinguished presentations, Sevim Aslan, Deniz Aslan, Gülsün Tanyeli, and Saltuk Akatay shared their insights in a seminar titled ‘Terkos Water Pumping Station: Preservation to Museum.’ This seminar explored the journey of the Terkos Water Pumping Station, detailing its transformation from a historical preservation project to a public space.
