Supported by the Misk Foundation, a non-profit organisation devoted to cultivating learning and leadership in young people, the Asaan Museum aims to foster connections with KSA’s cultural heritage through interactive exhibitions, immersive experiences, workshops and events as well as with the on-site conservation labs to support the restoration and preservation of historical archeological artifacts.
As a significant part of Diriyah Gate Masterplan in Riyadh, Asaan Museum is envisioned as a dynamic cultural hub that bridges tradition and modernity. Through internal courtyards, VIP Terraces and the unique roof-top promonade, the landscape design aims to enhancing the traditional architectural approach to celebrate and preserve the region’s cultural heritage. Emphasizing sustainability, accesibility, local identity, and with careful consideration of the climatic conditions, the Museum’s outdoor spaces are designed with a meticulous selection of local materials and native plants. The water features, seating areas, and accessible pathways enhance both comfort and environmental harmony.
The Misk Heritage Museum – Asaan aims to create an inclusive and enriching experience for all visitors while contributing a unique and sustainable open space to the urban fabric.
